WORKS WITH THE BEST PROTOTYPE MATERIALS FOR FORM, FIT, FUNCTIONALITY, OR AESTHETICS

We offer a wide range of materials that best represent the final look, feel, and appearance of your desired product. Whether it is a prototype for form, fit and function testing or aesthetics. ARRK can provide the best material options for your project. We will work side by side with your team to determine the best options for your project, ensuring a fast turnaround with exceptional results.

STEREOLITHOGRAPHY MATERIALS

At ARRK we stay ahead of the curve for the latest development in stereolithography resins and our experts have selected the best resins to cover most applications. With a fleet of stereolithography machines and the best resins to choose from, ARRK offers clients extensive capacity to ensure quick delivery and prototypes that are built in the material that best fit your needs.

RIGID URETHANE CASTING MATERIALS

A large range of material properties are available from ARRK with our urethane casting process. Examples include ABS-like and clear to fire retardant prototypes, cast in UL94V0 rated urethane, and semi-rigid prototypes which emulate the properties of polypropylene. The latter is particularly suited to prototypes of automotive trim and casings for hand tools. The resins can be colored to a wide range of shades, and ARRK will match pigments for Pantones and RAL classifications or customer’s samples on request.

ELASTOMERIC URETHANE CASTING MATERIALS

We produce elastomeric urethane castings ranging from 20 Shore A to 90 Shore A. The materials can be used for everything from keypads, buttons, to O-rings. ARRK has mastered overmolding elastomerics on rigid casting materials and CNC parts. Perfect for functional assembly and visual evaluation. For aesthetic purposes resins can be colored to a wide range of shades, and ARRK will match pigments for Pantones and RAL classifications or customer’s samples on request.

DLP Materials

ARRK’s DLP 3D Printing materials offer incredibly versatile materials designed to withstand temperatures exceeding 40°C, making them suitable for a range of needs, whether it’s toughness, rigidity, resilience, flexibility, dental-grade quality, or engineering plastics. They come in colors like black, clear transparent, and ceramic and can be customized with paint to meet your requirements.

CNC MATERIALS

Whether you need just a single component or a number of machined parts we can help. ARRK’s CNC service offers outstanding quality parts in plastics and metals. We can cut from a wide range of materials including ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic, polypropylene, PEEK, model board to various grades of aluminum, brass, stainless steel to name a few.

MICROWAVE MOLDING MATERIALS

We provide prototypes with thermoplastic resin using our unique Microwave Molding System, which is a quick and easy process similar to ARRK’s Urethane Casting process. The process uses material pellets that are reprocessed into a smaller size then set in a silicon mold where the thermoplastic absorbs the power of the microwave and is melted. Microwave Molding offers various resins, small lots, and quick delivery for your prototype for evaluation process.

SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING MATERIALS

Using a plastic based powder to produce parts there is a range of SLS materials to select from, both Nylon 12 PA and Nylon 12 Glass Filled offer their own unique characteristics. The EX material has exceptional flexibility while retaining strength, perfect for snap fit features. Selective Laser Sintering materials are particularly suited for functional testing with light weight, highly durable parts.

POLYJET™ MATERIALS

PolyJet™ 3D printing photopolymer resins come in clear, rigid, and flexible allowing you to have printed parts that look and feel like the final product. Available colored resins allow the process to print multiple colors in one part. PolyJet™ provides more material versatility than most other technologies including the ability to print multiple materials simultaneously allowing progressions from stiff to flexible in one part.

FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING MATERIALS

Using material heated and extruded through a nozzle layer by layer FDM provides a wide range of thermoplastics with high performance. Each material is light yet rigid and colors are available. Basic materials common to injection molding such as ABS, ASA and Polycarbonate are available. FDM offers more specialized thermoplastic materials including heat resistant, FAR-rated, food contact certified, biocompatible, and even static dissipative.

DIRECT METAL LASER SINTERING MATERIALS

A range of atomized metal powders can be sintered, welded with a precise laser, to create DMLS parts. The process is repeated layer by layer to create the geometries. Highly complex geometries not possible with traditional metal manufacturing can be produced in stainless steel, titanium, cobalt chrome, and aluminum in short lead times.
